ORIANA
Voyage to Antiquity
On 31st October 2011 Anne and I boarded P&O Cruises "Oriana" at Southampton for our first cruise aboard my old company's Flagship. I had been taken around the ship, when she was still owned by the proper P and O, together with my son a few years ago to celebrate my 65th Birthday. The following photographs, all taken by me unless otherwise stated, are of the very enjoyable cruise that we both enjoyed. Upon embarking at Berth 106, Southampton New Docks and after going through airline type security proceedures, we were directed to our cabin on C deck, number 284 and, whilst waiting for our cases to arrive, we did a short tour of the vessel. W e were informed that at the conclusion of the voyage "Oriana" will be going to Germany for a partial re-fit and the addition of new cabins where the children's play area is now. |
